                                                       OUR FORMER PASTOR

 

                                                          Pastor Elissa Bailey arrived in                                                              Bushnell in June 2009.  She                                                                  completed her education at                                                                the University of Dubuque                                                                  Theological Seminary after                                                                  receiving her BS in Psychology                                                            from Iowa State.  Pastor Elissa                                                            and Don married in our church in 2011.  They have three children: Grace - 5 years, Sophia - 4 years, and Mitchell who was born in August 2017.  Don works for RHM foods in Morton and brought to their marriage three wonderful adult children: Drew, Jenny, and Emily.  Jenny and her husband, Eric, are the proud parents of their amazing daughter, Maddie and are expecting a boy in May.

OUR MISSION

 

   We are striving to be the body of Christ, and individually members of it. 

   We believe that God loves, cares about, and forgives all people and the world. We believe that we are to love the Lord, our God, with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our minds, and our neighbors as ourselves.

   Therefore our congregation commits itself to seek the wisdom to speak God's word, and to be open to opportunities to use our God-given talents and resources to reach out in faith to all people.
