First United Presbyterian Church

Presbyterian Women is an organization open to all women, members or friends of the First Presbyterian Church of Bushnell.

Meetings are held at the church the first Thursday of each month, excluding August and January. We meet at 9 a.m., a light breakfast is provided by that month's hostess, and she also gives a short devotion. Each month a different lady gives the Bible Study lesson, and a business meeting ends the morning's schedule.

Presbyterian Women has given to several different missions throughout the years, including: Great Rivers Presbytery, Kemmerer Village, Marion Medical Missions, Youth for Christ, Birthday, Blanket and Thank Offerings, and Church World Service. We sell pecans and brooms to help support these missions. We also have a ceremony for new mothers called Cheer & Roses.
